Primus Metals is one of the top contract manufacturing companies in the Rocky Mountain region. Established over 20 years ago in 1989, Primus Metals started with a single individual and only 500 sq. ft. of floor space. We have since grown into a technologically savvy, 27,000 sq. ft. operation now employing over 60 people. Our machinists average over 14 years of experience. Our clients include customers in the aerospace, medical and energy industries such as Goodrich Aerospace, Triumph Aerospace, Eaton Aerospace, Cessna Aircraft, Delphi Medical, Schlumberger, and others. Our customers have some of the most demanding requirements in the industry and to manage their needs, we have some of the most stringent Quality Assurance processes and equipment in the industry. Primus Metals is constantly innovating and investing in the proper technologies needed in order to meet the ever-changing demands of our customers.

Primus Metals operates 35 primary machines, running 4 shifts every week. We produce over 200 part numbers every month equaling over 20 tons of finished product. We recycle over 90% of our excess alloy and metal shavings. That is the equivalent of 300,000 pounds of material recycled each year.

Primus Metals actively participates in programs to preserve our limited resources and promotes practices to save our planet. We encourage all our customers and employees to go paperless and reduce the use of paper/ink. Of the paper we do use, 100% of it is recycled. We also rely on energy efficient fluorescent light bulbs, providing substantial energy reduction.
