Over the last 20 years, Primus Metals has grown to be an industry leader in the machining and finishing of materials to achieve the closest tolerances for complex products in the aerospace, medical and energy industries.

Primus Metals operates 4 shifts, running 24 hours a day during weekdays and 12 hours a day on weekends. We maintain our operations at 80% of our machine capacity which ensures capacity for our customers with circumstances requiring expedited production.

Primus Metals can perform the following:

  • Machine virtually all raw materials, including aircraft grade aluminums, titanium, plastics, stainless steels and exotic nickel alloys
  • Provide sub-assembly services and turn-key production services for products requiring multiple processes including powder coating, magnetic particle inspection, and welding
  • Utilize complete NADCAP and Boeing Aircraft Company (BAC) supply chain for heat treating, plating, painting, structural testing and welding
  • Offer inventory stocking arrangements for long-term orders and contracts
  • Use the latest machine technology to achieve full automation and high accuracy (i.e. – bar feeders, pallet changers, electronic probes, automated temperature adjusting software)
  • Hold dimensional tolerances of up to +/- 0.0001” (English)
  • Provide complete traceability and extensive documentation of product manufacturing, including SPC data and chemical composition of raw materials
  • Focus heavily on surface finish requirements and the de-burring of products
  • Provide engineering support and “reverse” engineering services
  • Access real time data using our ERP system
