Primus builds its customers by addressing specific manufacturing needs. Our focus is on the aerospace, energy, and medical industries however our expertise in these three demanding areas allow us to be very competitive in other industries as well. Below are four case studies which highlight our abilities:

Case Study 1:
The need for a steady supply of highly complex parts delivered monthly to a large aerospace manufacturer developed into a major Long Term Agreement (LTA) contract with Primus. Over the tenure of the agreement, Primus has consistently maintained both a quality and delivery rating between 99-100%. Primus Metals was selected due to our extensive list of raw material suppliers, NADCAP approved out process suppliers and AS9100 certification as well as our ERP/MRP system.

Case Study 2:
In 2006, an international oil tooling manufacturer looked to source their manufacturing beyond the Houston area to broaden their supply base. When Hurricane Ike hit in September 2008, Primus Metals was positioned to carry a significant portion of their work that was being done in the Gulf Coast area. Primus Metals now works closely with the prototype and production teams on a broad base of oilfield tooling.

Case Study 3:
A Pasadena, CA company needed complex 5th axis machining capability to manufacture parts for the Mars Lander arm unit. This customer chose Primus Metals due to our experience in handling extremely complex, titanium designs and tolerances.

Case Study 4:
When a national military assembly supplier was searching for a manufacturing partner on their latest program, they needed a supplier that could produce large quantity runs on time and with DFAR military requirements. Primus Metals was chosen due to our utilization of a robust ERP system that assists in managing large scale production and our extensive list of raw material and NADCAP approved out process suppliers.
